Factory Bowl/OMSA Pool, Düsseldorf, 08.11.2009

Es war zwei Jahre her, dass wir den Factory-Bowl in Düsseldorf besucht hatten, also machten wir uns mal wieder auf den Weg, 350 km über leere Autobahnen. Georg "Chicken" Kube, Kerstin Latzina, Georg "Rampenrudi" Wanek, Olli und ich.

It was two years since we visited the Factory Bowl in Düsseldorf, so we made the trip again, 350 km via an empty Autobahn. Georg "Chicken" Kube, Kerstin Latzina, Georg "Rampenrudi" Wanek, Olli and me.

Der Hauptgrund aber war diese neueste Vergrößerung des wohl langsam größten deutschen privaten Indoor-Skateparks: Der OMSA-Pool

The main reason for the trip was this latest addition to the probably largest private indoor skatepark in Germany: The OMSA-Pool

Er ist ein Stockwerk höher als der Factory Bowl und komplett mit Poolcoping und Bar ausgestattet.

It is upstairs from the Factory Bowl and complete with pool coping and a bar.

Eine feine neue Miniramp gehört auch zum Komplex und es wird noch mehr gebaut.

Die Halle ist riesig und es ist noch massig Platz für mehr. Was Donald Campbell da bis jetzt auf die Beine gestellt hat ist unglaublich.

A fine new miniramp is there too and there is more going to be added. The Hall is massive and there is room for more. What Donald Campbell has done there is incredible.

Nachdem wir dem Factory Bowl etwas Schaden zugfügt hatten gingen wir nach oben zum OMSA Pool

After putting some damage to the Factory Bowl we went upstairs to the OMSA Pool

Local Dennis machte die besten layback rollouts die ich je gesehen habe, über die deathbox und noch weiter

Der Sound des copings ist unglaublich.

Rampenrudi ist eigentlich ein echter Halfpipefahrer und wer ihn schon mal in einer guten Vertramp gesehen hat, hat gemerkt, dass ihm die Bowls nicht leicht fielen. Dennoch machte er inverts.......

Rampenrudi is a real half pipe rider and who has seen him rip a good vert ramp noticed that the bowls gave him a hard time. Nevertheless he pulled inverts.....

Wir fuhren nach Hause, manche zu voller Adrenalin um zu schlafen, manche völlig fertig. Olli fast beim Kuscheln.
