A Skateboard family: The Ettels

Skateboarding umspannt ja jetzt bereits mehrere Generationen. Steve Olsons Sohn zum Beispiel skated auf Pro Level, Chris Millers Sohn hat fast den gleichen smoothen Style wie sein berühmter Daddy und Tony Hawks Sohn lässt sich auch nicht lumpen. Es gibt aber auch bei uns ganze Familien, die Skateboarding zum Hobby haben und Ihre Urlaub danach ausrichten wie andere das Skifahren.
Die Ettels aus München sind so ein Beispiel.
Skateboarding exists over several generations nowadays. Steve Olsons son skates at pro level, Chris Millers son has nearly the same smooth style as his famous daddy and Tony Hawks son is on an incredible level too.
But there are families over here too who see skateboarding as their hobby and who plan their vacations around it like others do through skiing.
For example the Ettels in Munich.

Julian hat seine Kindheit an der Ostküste der USA verbracht und ist mit Skateboarding gross geworden. Hier mit seiner jüngsten Tochter Kona.

Leilani ist gerade mal 8 Jahre alt und dropt inzwischen auch das Deepend im Cradle Skatepark in Brixlegg . Kona ist 2 1/2 und lässt sich immerhin schon mal von Daddy entspannt durch die Gegend cruisen.

Julian, Pala Skatepark, California

Julia ist irgendwie auch schon immer mit den Brettern verbunden gewesen und hat sich trotz zweier Kids und jüngst zweier Meniskus OP`s nie vom Brett vertreiben lassen. Kein Wunder dass sich die beiden Töchter schon früh an die rollenden Bretter herangewagt haben und so wies aussieht auch mächtig Spass dabei haben.
Julia was connected to skateboarding in some way since forever and did not stop skating despite having two kids and two knee surgeries. It is no wonder that both daughters are not afraid to skate and are obviously having a lot of fun doing it.

Diesen drop machte Leilani völlig unerwartet im Lake Forest Skatepark in California. Die Jungs, die zuschauen, haben das wohl auch nicht erwartet.
